A content management system is a computer software used to manage the creation and modification of digital content. CMSs are typically used for enterprise content management and web content management. Business process management is the discipline in which people use various methods to discover, model, analyze, measure, improve, optimize, and automate business processes. Any combination of methods used to manage a company's business processes is BPM.
